Cutter's (Riverdale) Jamaican Restaurant

It was my first visit and they did not disappoint. The oxtail meal was delicious, one of the best I’ve had in the Atl area. Their candied yams were ridiculously good! Taste like they used honey in them. The portions were huge (to me). Overall, great visit and I’ll return!

I swear if I can give this place 10 stars, I would the atmosphere was awesome. The food is delicious. The gentleman upfront helping out with our order was phenomenal. I will come back here again and again I have to say this is the best Jamaican food I have ever had. I’m so glad that they’re here, they give you so much food you’re going to see we were able to eat for two days and the second day was so delicious and juicy as if you would’ve gotten it on the first day there’s not a lot of places that you can actually say that about their food WE WILL BE BACK. we ordered two mild Jamaican patties to Coco bread and two chicken patties with two jerk chicken plates and a curry chicken plate

Best Jamaican Food on the Southside! I’ve had the curry chicken, jerk chicken, Mac n cheese, collard greens and corn bread. When I tell you it’s good, it’s terrific. I always forget to do reviews, but I couldn’t forget this review. If I decide to do Thanksgiving Dinner this year, I definitely want them to cater!! It’s that good.

Bruh. Hear me good! This place is INSANE! I had the Curry Goat with Rice & Peas, Cabbage, and Plantins! My only issue and trust me I am nitpicking, I could have used more juice over top of my goat to saturate the rice but because my fat self wasn’t gonna be satisfied with just trying the Curry Goat, I got a side of Curry Chicken which had all the juice I needed! The flavor was serious. Right amount of spice. Both meats were super tender and the cabbage was cooked perfectly. I will be back again, again, and again. I got fat boy stains on my shirt!! As @therealfoodstalker would say…YOU GOTTA GIVE THESE FOLKS A TRY!!

I give this place 5stars … my cousin who lives in riverdale recommended this place and it did not disappoint what so ever . I live an hour away in Covington and it survived the whole ride staying warm … I sampled alil bit before I started driving and I couldn’t wait to get home and watch my shows while I enjoyed the rest of this food.I ordered the jerk chicken plate with rice n peas , Mac n cheese , and cabbage and I had some of my sister’s oxtail pasta … it was absolutely delicious. The flavors mixed very well together and the stewed jerk sauce was amazing . When I’m ever back on that side of town I WILL go there again .Thank you all for the great service . The staff Mr and Mrs I assume were very personable , pleasant and lovely .I forgot to mention the plethora of natural drinks options they have as well . I demolished the sorrel otw home .. I love sorrel and from the first taste I just knew the food was gonna be good . That was some good sorrel . I HIGHLY recommend it.S/o to everyone who is involved with making this a business. You all have exceeded any expectation I may have had.I wish this restaurant much love and success and if you guys get the chance to expand please let a location fall in the east ATL / Covington Ga area This is the only pic I have of my plate it’s not great but the food was definitely bangin

Excellent food. Curry chicken is cooked to perfection. Large jerk portion came with 5 soft, delicious caramelized plantains!Kudos to the chef. We’ll be back, guys! Thank you for feeding is with a real food!

I have had the oxtail pasta and jerk pasta BOTH are amazing. The oxtail pasta has a sweeter divine flavor and the Jerk pasta was not at all what I was expecting. The chicken tasted as if they killed it twenty minutes before I called. It was extremely fresh and clean in taste and texture. And THEN the chicken had the nerve to taste as if it was SMOKED. I'm a foodie and this was an experience. I pray those hands continue to receive God's blessings wherever they may go. I will be back tomorrow when I get my check!

Today was my first day trying them. I was looking for a brand new spot for Ox-tails. An they definitely didn't disappoint at all. Most places over charge you for a plate that's majorly rice and bones with little meat on them. Cutter's definitely give you your money's worth. The oxtails were very big, tender an covered in this thick sort of sweet sauce. The rice and peas was extra fluffy an flavorful. The cabbage was tender, crunchy an cooked perfectly. This was a 10/10, they'll definitely see me coming in alot more.
